JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner on the basis of her representation dated 16.06.2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
3. Today, Mr.R.Murugan, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Achanpudur Police Station is present before this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli against her husband and mother-in-law and the same has been referred to the 2nd respondent for enquiry. Similarly, on the complaint given by Ulpaj Jamani, mother-in-law of the petitioner, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.231/2017.
5. Under such circumstances, no blanket order as prayed for by the petitioner can be granted. The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in both the petitions and ensure that no physical harm befalls the petitioner. The petitioner is also directed to appear before the 2nd respondent and cooperate in the enquiry.
6. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
