Sajitha Anwar Hussain vs State Of Kerala

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging Ext.P5 proceedings of the 2nd respondent by which an application for renewal of licence to conduct a quarry submitted by her has been rejected. I notice that the petitioner has an alternative remedy as provided by Section 276 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner without exhausting the said effective alternative remedy.

In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed, but without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to pursue the statutory remedy.
