JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.394/2014 of Chelakkara Police Station, Thrissur District. The offences alleged against him are punishable under Secs.376 and 506(i) of IPC. Learned Public Prosecutor submits that Sec.66E of IT Act has also been added. Apprehending arrest, this petition is filed for anticipatory bail.
2. The de facto complainant is a married woman having two children. Her husband is working abroad. The accused is a conductor in a bus. There was friendship between the complainant and the accused. The complainant did not think that the intention of the accused is something else. He entered the house of the complainant on 12.3.2014 under the guise of enquiring as to where her children are. Her children had gone to school. The accused suddenly B.A. No.3483 of 2014 -: 2 :-
entered the room and bolted the door from inside and forcibly laid her on the cot and had sexual intercourse with her. It is stated that the accused took nude photos using his mobile phone and threatened that if it is told to anybody it will be published. It is further stated that by so threatening the complainant, the accused again had sexual intercourse with her. There is another allegation that the accused took certain articles from her house making use of same threat.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations are not true. It is only an application for anticipatory bail.
Considering the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is hence dismissed.
