Antony Dominic, J. The petitioner filed this writ petition alleging that Nivea Wilson, the daughter of the second respondent is his fiancee and that she is being illegally detained by her father, the 2nd respondent.
2. By order dated 20.05.2014, this Court directed that the alleged detenue be produced before this Court today and accordingly, she was produced before us by the 2nd respondent. On her appearance before us, we interacted with her and she was asked as to whether she is being illegally detained by the 2nd respondent as alleged in the petition. She denied the said allegation of the petitioner.
Thus, it means that the case of the petitioner that the W.P.(Crl.) No.206/2014 -2-
alleged detenue is in the illegal detention of the 2nd respondent is factually incorrect. In such circumstances, we are unable to entertain this writ petition. This writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
