JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners are accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.209 of 2014 of the Kanakakunnu Police Station for offences punishable under Sections 143, 144, 147, 148, 323, 294(b), 324, 341, 307 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code, apprehend arrest and have filed the application.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application. It is submitted that on 08.04.2014 at about 10.15 p.m., the petitioners attacked the de facto complainant and others and inflicted injuries on the head etc. Political rivalry is the reason for the incident.
3. Learned counsel submitted that to some of the accused, this Court has granted relief as per order dated 28.05.2014 in B.A.No.2933 of 2014.
4. I have gone through a copy of the said order and find that relief was granted to accused Nos. 3 to 5, 7 and 8 having regard to the role attributed to them. So far as the petitioners are concerned, it is alleged that they assaulted the de facto complainant and others with iron rod, wooden reaper etc. In light of the above, request of the petitioners for pre-
arrest bail cannot be allowed.
Application is disposed of as under:
(i) Petitioners shall surrender before the Officer investigating Crime No.209 of 2014 of the Kanakakunnu Police Station on 26.06.2014 at 10.00 a.m. for interrogation.
(ii) In case interrogation is not completed that day, it is open to the officer concerned to direct presence of the petitioners on other day/days and time as may be specified by him which the petitioners shall comply.
(iii) In case the petitioners are arrest, they shall be produced before the jurisdictional magistrate as early as possible.
