The petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayers:
“i. call for the records of this case; leading to Exts.P1, P2, P4, P7 and P8 and quash the same issue a writ of certiorari;
ii. declare that “voltage stabilizer” is not an electric equipments in the usual parlance and the respondents have no authority to reckon connected load on the basis of the stabilizers connected after the main switch.”
2. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that, the amount due to the Electricity Board has already been satisfied by the petitioners as per remittances effected on 30.10.2013 in respect of the different consumer connection Nos.6374, 5964 & 5967. A true copy of the communication/letter No.DB/EKD/13-14/case/157 dated 09.12.13 , is also produced for perusal of this Court.
In the above circumstances, this Court finds that, nothing further remains to be considered in this case. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed.
