These Writ Petitions are filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to quash tender document vide Annex-B and E-portal in respect of tender dated 14-1-2016 prescribing the last date for bid submission as 25.2.2016 and it published vide Annex-C and etc.
These Writ Petitions coming on for preliminary hearing in ‘B’ group this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Sri.Harikrishna S.Holla, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri.Vijay Kumar A.Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
2. In these petitions under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has assailed the validity of the document dated 14.01.2016 by which last date of submission of bid was prescribed on 25.02.2016.
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in pursuance of the letter dated 25.06.2016, work order has been issued and 90% work of the contract in question has already been concluded. Learned Additional Government Advocate has produced a copy of the said work order which is taken on record.
4. In view of the aforesaid subsequent events, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petitions.
Accordingly, the writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous.
