Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Dhananjay Awasthi, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
It is alleged that the petitioner was employed with U.P. Sahkari Katai Mills Ltd., Fatehpur.
The Mill itself has become sick and has been closed down. Petitioner contends that an option was extended for availing voluntary retirement to the employees, vide Government Order dated 23rd of April, 2012. Petitioner submits that he has availed of the option so extended, by submitting the required documents, but claim of the petitioner has not been considered so far.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case petitioner's claim has not been considered so far, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this writ petition stands disposed of requiring the respondent No.3 to examine the claim of petitioner for grant of benefit under voluntary retirement scheme introduced by Government Order dated 23rd of April, 2012, within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. All consequential action shall be taken accordingly.
