The petitioner constructed two auction halls at Jonakapuram at Kollam for the purpose of developing Kollam Port. On account of the delay in disbursing the bill in respect of the work already completed, the petitioner has approached this Court. The petitioner also has a grievance that he has completed substantial portion of the work and on account of delay in taking measurement of the work executed by the petitioner, he could not submit the second part of the bill. It is submitted by learned Government Pleader that the petitioner's bill has been processed and the letter of credit has been forwarded and the amount due to the petitioner will be released to the petitioner for the work completed. In such circumstances, there shall be a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to disburse the bill submitted by the petitioner within four weeks. In respect of WP(C).No.25620/2014-B.
2 the remaining work, there shall be a further direction to the 4th respondent to take measurement and prepare the bill. It shall be done within three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
