JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of his application dated 10.03.2017 for issuance of license for running the shop for possessing and sale of fire crackers property situated at door No.166/126 C.A.N Road, Kadharpet, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Vellore.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his application as early as 10.03.2017 for the issuance of license, the same has not yet been considered by the 1st respondent so far.
3. Mr.S.N. Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders, in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.03.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
