The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the order dated 10.12.2018 passed in Writ A No.6419 of 2013 (Sadanand Singh Vs. State of U.P. Thru. Secy & Others).
Today when the matter was taken up, an affidavit of compliance has been filed by Shri Neeraj Rai, learned counsel appearing on behalf of opposite party. In paragraph-4 of the aforesaid affidavit it is stated that order passed by the Writ Court has already been complied with in its letter and spirit vide order dated 20.11.2019 and the claim set up by the petitioner/applicant was rejected, therefore, no further orders are required to be passed.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
