Order:
This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that though the petitioner was appointed as the fair price shop dealer of Lakshmakkapalli Village, Tarlupadu Mandal, Prakasam District, as far back as 21-05-2011, respondent No.2 has not issued him the authorization and has not been allowing him to function as such.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies, on instructions, from respondent No.2 submitted that the record relating to Demand Draft, stated to have been produced by the petitioner for a sum of Rs.3,000/-, and the Challan for Rs.500/- required for issuance of authorization are not traceable as at present and that respondent No.2 has no objection for issuance of authorization, if the petitioner produces a fresh Demand Draft for Rs.3,000/- and pay a sum of Rs.500/- through a challan afresh.
Mr.I.Koti Reddy, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submitted that his client will comply with the said requirement.
In the light of the above submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is permitted to furnish a fresh Demand Draft for Rs.3,000/- and pay the sum of Rs.500/- through a Challan afresh. Within one week from the date of receipt of such Demand Draft and Challan, respondent No.2 shall issue authorization to the petitioner and permit him to function as the fair price shop dealer of Lakshmakkapalli Village, Tarlupadu Mandal, Prakasam District.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, WPMP.41442 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
