Following orders were passed in the matter on 19.7.2018:-
"Grievance is that authorities have not disclosed as to what exactly is the ailment for which petitioner has been found medically unfit. Submission is that petitioner does not suffer from any ailment, and therefore, the report is otherwise incorrect.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions. Post as fresh on 26th July, 2018."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions, according to which, petitioner was medically examined on 14.6.2018 and he was declared unfit due to knock knee. The records produced contains the report of doctors which also bears signature of the petitioner. On an appeal preferred by the petitioner, he has been examined on 19.6.2018 by the board, wherein also same conclusion has been drawn.
Although a supplementary affidavit has been filed stating that doctor of the district hospital has found no deformity in the petitioner, but this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter inasmuch as the recruitment process clearly contains stipulation about medical examination by a medical board and thereafter by the appellate medical board. The specific finding returned by the board, which consisted of 6 doctors, is not liable to be interfered with, as nothing is shown to discredit it.
Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
