1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioners.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs:
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari, quashing the condition stipulated in the Government Orders dated 3.8.2001, 20.8.2001 and 14.9.2001 (Annexure nos. 4, 5 and 6 to the writ petition) with regard to modifiction of upper age limit in so far as the petitioners no. 2, 3, 12 to 19, 22, 25 and 26 are concerned.
(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant appointment to the petitioners as Assistant Teacher in Junior Basic Schools run by the Board of Basic Education in district Kushi Nagar, after permitting them to undergo training of special B.T.C. Training Course of two months in pursuance to the advertisement dated 14.8.2001 (Annexure-7 to this writ petition)."
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioners are not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioners have lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioners is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
