This Court in Writ Petition No. 9394 of 2000 directed petitioner's claim to be considered for appointment on a Class- III post in Jaunpur Judgeship, in case persons junior to him were absorbed. Pursuant to such order, petitioner's claim was considered and rejected by the District Judge, Jaunpur vide order dated 29.4.2000. This order is not challenged. Instead a review petition has been filed and thereafter present writ petition has been filed in the year 2002, for a direction being issued to consider petitioner's review.
No provision of law has been shown where under a review application would be maintainable. The order, rejecting petitioner's claim dated 29.4.2000 is otherwise not under challenge.
In that view of the matter, no mandamus can be issued to consider petitioner's representation/ review.
Writ petition fails and is accordingly dismissed.
