The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :
(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ commanding the respondent to reclassify the vehicle mentioned in Exhibit P1 as a non-transport vehicle and to collect life tax applicable to non- transport passenger vehicle And
(ii) To pass such orders or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice.
2. The prayer is vehemently opposed by the learned Government Pleader who entered appearance on behalf of the respondent.
3. This Court finds that the grievance of the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent by way of Ext. P2. This Court does not find it necessary to consider the merit of the case. The Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P2 in accordance with law, after W.P.(C) No. 30742 of 2014 : 2 :
giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition before the respondent for further steps.
