This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to expedite the computerized Suit No. T201814360304665 (Narendra Kumar Vs. Gaonsabha) Under Section 116 Land Revenue Act in stipulated period, pending in the Court of Sub Divisional Magistrate Tehsil-Machhalishahar, District-Jaunpur."
It is stated that a partition suit filed by the contesting respondent in the year 2016, has not been decided till date.
Although, the petitioner has filed his written statement in the year 2017.
On a pointed query by the Court, counsel for the petitioner admits that till date, the issues have not been framed in the suit.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Machhalishahar, District Jaunpur to decide the partition suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 12 months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
