Sabarkantha vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|05 July, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE D.H.WAGHELA) As on today and earlier, adjournments are sought on behalf of the respondent only on the ground that learned Government Pleader is appearing for the State and he requires time today. Learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr. Rakesh R. Patel submitted that even if the Court is not inclined to adjourn the hearing, he could not assist the Court because he does not have either the papers or any instructions, even as interim relief is operating against the respondent in one of the petitions. Learned senior advocate Mr. Vakharia appearing for the petitioners submitted that if the hearing were to be adjourned, it may be adjourned to 16th July 2012. Accordingly, S. O. to 16th July 2012 with the request that in case learned Government Pleader is not available on that day, learned Assistant Government Pleader, in-charge of the matter, should argue and assist the Court.
