JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to disburse the amount deposited under F.D/01/140100 & F.D./01/140101.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank.
3.It is seen that the abovesaid amount was deposited in the name of the petitioners, when they were minors, by the father of the petitioners towards permanent maintenance, in a matrimonial proceedings pending between the petitioners' father and mother. Now, the petitioners want to withdraw the abovesaid amount, as they have become major.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank submitted that the bank is not having any objection for withdrawal of those deposits by the petitioners, since those deposits are admittedly standing in the name of the petitioners, who have become major by this time.
5.Recording the abovesaid submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent bank to permit the petitioners to withdraw the amount available under F.D/01/140100 & F.D./01/140101 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
