Society Ltd., rep.by its Secretary, 37-A, Sembudoss Street, Chennai -1. ..Respondents PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records from the first respondent relating to order dated 29.08.2002 bearing ref.No.RC.No.4821/2002/C3 and quash the same as being illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction.

2. Learned counsel for the 2nd respondent brought to the notice of this court, the submissions made by the 2nd respondent in the counter affidavit, wherein it is stated that the petitioner is no more in service since he has retired from service on 30.06.2016. Further, the appointment of the 3rd respondent as an Administrator has been revoked by the 1st respondent and at present the 2nd respondent society is administered by the 21 newly elected board of Directors, with effect from 20.05.2014. As such nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and hence the same is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
3. In view of the above submission of the 2nd respondent, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
