JUDGMENT / ORDER

Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned IX Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai, to dispose of R.C.A.No.123 of 2015 pending on its file as expeditiously as possible on merits and in accordance with law.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a petition for fixation of fair rent. The contractual rent is Rs.15,000/-. The learned Rent Controller fixed the fair rent as Rs.33,067/- per month. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has preferred R.C.A.No.123 of 2015. He would further submit that as the bundle has been misplaced, he sought for reconstruction of the bundle. Therefore, the petitioner has preferred C.R.P.(NPD)No.4117 of 2015. This Court by order dated 15.03.2016 has directed the Rent Control Appellate Authority to reconstruct the bundle. It is further submitted that even though the bundle has been reconstructed, R.C.A. is yet to be disposed of. Hence, he prays for an early disposal of R.C.A.No.123 of 2015.
3. Considering the limited nature of the relief as sought for herein, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of the typed set of papers, I am inclined to give a direction to the appellate Court to dispose of the appeal as early as possible. Accordingly, the learned IX Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai, is directed to dispose of R.C.A.No.123 of 2015 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to both sides. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
