Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to survey the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.403/9, measuring an extent of 0.17 cents, Survey No.403/12 measuring an extent of 0.09 cents and Survey No.403/12 measuring an extent of 0.17 cents as per Pattas 1220 and 1377 situated at Periyanesalur Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 as per the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within the time frame fixed by this court.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to survey his land comprised in Survey No.403/9, measuring an extent of 0.17 cents, Survey No.403/12 measuring an extent of 0.09 cents and Survey No.403/12 measuring an extent of 0.17 cents as per Pattas 1220 and 1377 situated at Periyanesalur Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District, considering his representation dated 24.07.2017 as per the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 for surveying the land and also making payment of necessary charges, the respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider to consider the petitioner's representation for surveying the land and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 for surveying the land mentioned above and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
