This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.27 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent.
2. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.
3. Upon hearing the counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation, after due opportunity to the petitioner, and file final report in Crime No.27 of 2015 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
