COMMON ORDER:
By interim order dated 27.04.2012, this Court directed the respondents in the writ petition to permit the petitioner to participate in the selection process for appointment to the post of Junior Lineman. W.V.M.P. No.2006 of 2012 was filed by the respondents to vacate the said order.
2. There was no representation for the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner on 24.11.2014 and again on 19.12.2014. The miscellaneous petitions were accordingly directed to be listed ‘for orders’ on 26.12.2014. Today also, the same situation continues and there is no representation for the petitioner or his counsel. It is therefore clear that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter.
3. W.P.M.P. No.15353 of 2012 is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. Interim order dated 27.04.2012 shall stand vacated. W.V.M.P.No.2006 of 2012 is allowed.
4. In the light of the aforestated development, the writ petition itself fails for non-prosecution and is accordingly dismissed for default. No order as to costs.
