JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed for transferring the appeal in C.M.A.No.14 of 2017 from the file of the District Judge, Chengalpattu, to any Court of Competent Jurisdiction of the City Civil Court at Chennai, on the ground that the petitioner has got two children and apart from that, since the petitioner is practicing at Chennai, it will be easier for her to proceed with the appeal.
2. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given for an early disposal of the appeal.
3. Considering the submission, this Court is of the opinion that the appeal need not be transferred to any other Court in Chennai. On the other hand, direction can be issued to the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, to dispose of the appeal in C.M.A.No.14 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of. No costs.
