PRAYER in W.P.No.26001 of 2012: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 & 4 to determine and receive the loan amount and interest payable by the petitioner in terms of G.O.Ms.No.98 Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 20.04.2012 relating to the award proceedings in award No.1250/01-02, dated 18.10.2003 and consequently discharge the mortgaged property in Door No.2/568, Ayanarappan KovilKadu, Kalarampatty, Erumpalayam Post, Salem-636 015.
PRAYER in W.P.No.26002 of 2012: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 & 4 to determine and receive the loan amount and interest payable by the petitioner in terms of G.O.Ms.No.98 Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 20.04.2012 relating to the award proceedings in award No.1160/ 02-03, dated 30.12.2003 and consequently discharge the mortgaged property in Door No.6/335, Muniappan Kovil Street S.Nattamangalam, Salem-636 010

These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking to direct the respondents 3 & 4 to determine and receive the loan amount and interest payable by the petitioners, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.98 Housing and Urban Development Department dated 20.04.2012, relating to the award proceedings in Award Nos. 1250/01-02 dated 18.10.2003 and 1160/02-03 dated 30.12.2003 and consequently discharge the mortgaged properties.
2. Learned counsel for the respondent society submitted a letter dated 03.08.2017, stating that both the petitioners have settled the entire amount to the society and their accounts have been closed. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petitions.
3. In view of the same, both the writ petitions are dismissed.
No costs.
