The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 07.06.2017 and accord permission to him to transport water from S.No.248/3A1, situated at S.No.248/3A1 at Polur Town to C.C. Road, Polur Town and Main Road, Polur, Tiruvannamalai.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2017 seeking for permission to transport water, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
