For Petitioner : Mr.M.Mohanraj O R D E R The petitioner, who is the wife of the respondent, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition, to direct the III Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.1865 of 2016, within a time frame.
2. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.1865 of 2016 to declare the marriage as null and void.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed H.M.O.P.No.1865 of 2016 , so far, the respondent has not filed counter and therefore, the Family Court, has not disposed of the same. That apart, the learned counsel also submitted that in view of pendency of the matter, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, I direct the III Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.1865 of 2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
