JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to issue separate patta to petitioner's land by removing the name of the 2nd respondent in joint Patta No.221 already issued by the 1st respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.04.2017 made to the 1st respondent.
2. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the 1st respondent submitted that as against the patta issued by the 1st respondent in favour of the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has got an Appeal remedy before the Revenue Divisional Officer.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, as the petitioner has got a remedy by way of an Appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer as against the patta issued by the 1st respondent in favour of the 2nd respondent, liberty is given to the petitioner to file an Appeal before the concerned jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer in accordance with law.
4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
