JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the 1st respondent and Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the 2nd respondent. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioners have filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 09.08.2016 (reminder letter dated 01.09.2017) and pass appropriate final orders within a reasonable time, taking into consideration the order made by the Commissioner of HR & CE, dated 16.08.2017 pertaining to name change of the electricity connection in the temple lands.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 09.08.2016 and the reminder on 01.09.2017, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2016 and reminder dated 01.09.2017 in accordance with law. Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2016 and reminder dated 01.09.2017 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2016 and reminder dated 01.09.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law taking into consideration the order passed by the Commissioner, HR & CE dated 16.08.2017 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
