S. Ravichandran vs The Superintendant Of Police

Madras High Court|07 August, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the first respondent to withdraw the investigation pending in Crime No.57 of 2017 on the file of the second respondent and direct the first respondent to entrust the same to any other competent investigating officer other than the second respondent and file final report.
2. The petitioner's grievance is that the complaint itself was registered after the delay and there was no proper investigation done by the respondent Police.
3. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions would submit that on 21.07.2017 itself charge sheet was filed and the same is yet to be taken on file.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to take appropriate steps if he is aggrieved by the final report filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam.
