Advocate ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by him on 11.02.2012 as against the order passed by the Tahsildar, Dharmapuri Taluk, dated 04.03.2003, within a time frame.
2. Pursuant to the orders passed by this court in Writ Appeal No.225 of 2011, dated 31.10.2011, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the respondent on 11.02.2012.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the appeal was filed by the petitioner in the year 2012, the respondent has not disposed of the same yet.
3. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, within a time frame.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the appeal dated 11.02.2012 filed by the petitioner, as against the order passed by the Tahsildar, Dharmapuri Taluk, dated 04.03.2003, and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
