1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. Wife of the petitioner, namely, Smt. Chinta Devi was a class-
III employee under the second respondent, Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur. She was died on 12 June 2015. By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks the following relief:
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 for the payment of arrears of salary and 300 days earn leave of Smt. Chinta Devi."
3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the second respondent shall consider and decide the claim of the petitioner expeditiously.
4. In regard thereto, without entering into the merit of the case, as well as, rival contentions raised by the respective parties, it is provided that the second respondent, Chief Medical Officer, Jaunpur shall consider and decide the claim/representation of the petitioner, by a reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably, within eight weeks from the date of filing of certified copy of this order along with the copy of the writ petition.
5. With the aforementioned observations/directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
