This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the Trial Court to have a speedy trial of S.C.No.104 of 2014.

2. When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter has been posted on 21.02.2017 before the Trial Court for fixing a date for trial.
3. Recording the above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai to conduct the trial in S.C.No.104 of 2014 on a day to day basis and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
