JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu, learned counsel appearing for respondents 1,2, and 4 produced a communication of the first respondent, dated 13.03.2017 before this Court stating that the petitioner is granted admission in Ph.D. Programme in Drama and Theatre Arts.
2. Para 2 of the said communication is extracted as follows:-
“Based on the directions of the Hon'ble High Court and as advised by University Counsel in his telephonic discussions, I request you to kindly initiate the process for granting admission to Ms.S.Preetha to Ph.D. Programme in Drama & Theatre Arts at the earliest. It is learnt that there are no vacancies with the available supervisors in the department. Since this admission is to be made on the directions of the Hon'ble High Court, as a special case she may be accommodated with any supervisor of the department on supernumerary basis.”
3. In the light of the above, no further order is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
