The petitioner has filed this petition, styled as public interest litigation, seeking a direction against the first respondent to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 09.12.2016 by taking action to convert the residence of the Former Chief Minister Selvi J.Jayalalitha situate at Door No.81, Veda Nilayam, Poes Garden, Chennai-86 into Memorial House.
2. It appears that seeking identical relief W.P.(MD) No.599 of 2017 was filed before the Madurai Bench of this Court and by order dated 12.1.2017, the said writ petition was dismissed as not maintainable.
3. In view of the above, nothing remains to be reconsidered in the present writ petition.
The petition is dismissed. No costs.
