JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 10.08.2017 within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given a representation, dated 10.08.2017 for the issuance of Patta, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.
3. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
