The Criminal Appeal has been filed by the appellant/A3 against the conviction and sentence passed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Erode made in S.C.No.24 of 2007 on 17.08.2007.
2. When the matter was taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that the sole appellant/A3 died on 08.02.2013, pending appeal. She has also produced the death certificate of the appellant.
3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, after verification, confirmed the same.
4. In view of the submission and based on the memo filed by the learned counsel appearing for the appellant, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
