JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the father of one Mr.Bharathi, male, aged about 16 years. According to the petitioner, that Mr.Bharathi, has been found missing from 11.01.2017 onwards. Since he has not been secured by the police, despite a case has been registered, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the Inspector of Police, submitted a status report, stating that the detenu is involved in number of criminal cases and he is wanted for producing before the appropriate forum. He further submitted that steps are being taken, to secure the detenu.
3. Since the detenu is absconding, we cannot grant any relief to the petitioner. Hence the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. However, with a direction to the respondent police to continue the search to secure the detenu.
