JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.Manikumar,J) Educational loan, obtained from the Bank could not be paid in terms of instalments. Hence the petitioner has sought for a mandamus, directing the respondent Bank, to deduct all entire interest component, for the educational loan of Rs.7.50 lakhs sanctioned on 4/8/2006 upto 31/12/2013 and recast the entire statement of account, in consonance with the relief scheme put forth by the Government of India.
2. Record of proceeding shows that notice of motion has been ordered on 22/2/2014.
3. On this day, when the matter came up for further hearing, Mrs.Jaya Ganga, for Ms. Ananda Gomathy, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the entire loan amount has been discharged and hence nothing survives in this writ petition.
4. Placing on record the above, writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
