JUDGMENT / ORDER

Since the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that he had given a change of Vakalath, on 24.10.2008, the Registry was directed to verify if any fresh vakalath has been filed on behalf of the petitioner. Since no fresh vakalath had been filed on behalf of the petitioner, the name of the petitioner had been printed in the cause list. When the matter was taken up for hearing, on 04.08.2009, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was posted under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
