2. It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Sathis Kumar and three others, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 15.12.2015 and the same was registered in Crime No.14 of 2015 under section 417, 498(A), 506(i) IPC and 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard Mr.M.Rajendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.14 of 2015 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
