Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The present petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents authority to decide the Civil Suit No.1644 of 2016 (Sita Devi & Others Vs. Maidan Singh and others) within a stipulated period.
The case of the petitioner is that she is very old lady having not so much time of life, therefore, prays that suit may be decided at the earliest.
It is further submitted that on several occasions case was listed but suit has not been decided. In support thereof, he also annexed the order sheet.
Considering the facts of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Court below to decide the suit expeditiously preferably if possible within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of the order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
