Doraisolaimalai, Additional Government Pleader ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authorities to grant regularization to his plot bearing No.142, measuring an extent of 2400 sq.ft., comprised in Survey.No.424/1A1B, Mogappair Village, Golden George Nagar, Mogappair, Chennai as per the regularization scheme declared by G.O.(Ms).No.565/ULC-1/Revenue Department, dated 26.09.2008.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has submitted his application for regularisation to the first respondent as early as dated 17.02.2015, the respondents have not considered the same yet.
3. Mr. Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.02.2015 and pass orders, in accordance with the law.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner's application dated 17.02.2015 may be considered in the light of the regularization scheme declared by G.O.(Ms).No.565/ULC-1/Revenue Department, dated 26.09.2008.
5. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.02.2015 to grant regularization to the petitioner's plot bearing No.142 as per the regularization scheme declared by G.O.Ms.No.565/ULC-1/Revenue Department, dated 26.09.2008 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with the law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
