For Petitioner : Mr.B.Prahalad Ravi For Respondents : Mr.M.Santhanaraman Special Government Pleader O R D E R The Writ Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to implement the order passed in O.A.No.3801 of 2003 dated 24.11.2003 and to promote him to the post of Forester.
2. When the matter was taken up today, Mr.M.Santhanaraman, learned Special Government Pleader, would submit that the petitioner himself has made a representation that he was promoted as Forest Guard during the pendency of the above Writ Petition and requested to enter the same in the Service Register. The learned Special Government Pleader has also produced a proceedings of the second respondent dated 18.07.2007 pertaining to the Panel of Forest Guard and Assistant Draughtsman. In that list, the petitioner's name is shown at Serial No.11, as being selected for promotion to the post of Forester in the year 2006 itself.
3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
