JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.4 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was filed in the year 2015 and the respondent police have R.MAHADEVAN, J.
KM not taken any steps for conducting investigation, or to file final report. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent.
4. Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2015 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.4 of 2015 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
