ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.2 in refusing to extend the period of contract for transportation of essential commodities in favour of the petitioner, while extending the same in respect of others, as illegal, arbitrary and discriminatory.
At the hearing, Mr. V. R. Reddy Kovvuri, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that as the period for which the Stage-II transport contracts were extended for others has already expired and fresh tenders have been called, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.27773 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
