These Writ Petitions are filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to quash the impugned order passed by the Karnataka WAQF Tribunal, Bengaluru Division, Bengaluru in application No.3/2015 dated 18.09.2015 at Annex-A and allow the prayers made in application No.3/2015 vide Annex-D; and etc.
These Petitions coming on for Preliminary Hearing in ‘B’ group this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Smt.Fathima Zohra, learned counsel for Sri.Mohamood Patel, learned counsel for the petitioners. Smt.Swathi Ashok, learned counsel for Smt.S.R.
Anuradha, learned counsel for respondent No.1.
2. In these petitions, the petitioners have assailed the validity of the order dated 28.11.2014.
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the term of the Committee of the Wakf has come to an end by efflux of time on 17.09.2018, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petitions. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petitions are dismissed as infructuous.
