R.Vincy vs The Branch Manager

Madras High Court|21 February, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.07.2016 and pass orders on the same.
2. It is seen that the petitioner through said representation has sought for grant of educational loan. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent bank has not considered the request of the petitioner so far. Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders without loss of further time, as the said request is for grant of educational loan.
3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner seeking for educational loan and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
To The Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Kalkulam Branch, Thuckalay, Kanyakumari District..
