JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order of Common recruitment of Grade II Police, Jail Warders and Firemen ? 2017 mentioning the individual marks of the petitioner, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to select the petitioner for the post of Grade II Police Constable (Men and Women and 3rd Gender), Grade II Jail Warder (Men and Women) and Fireman by awarding two marks on the basis of NCC certificate of the petitioner.
2. Heard Mr.K.Baalasundharam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3.This Court by an order dated 21.09.2017 has passed the following order:-
?The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner has secured 57 marks in the Written Examination, 6 marks in Physical Endurance Test and no Special Marks and in total 63 marks. However, since the cut off marks for provisional selection list or B.C. General Category for the post of Grade II constable etc., is 64 marks, he is not qualified. To file counter, and for production of O.M.R. Sheet, post on 05.10.2017.
4.For production of the above said O.M.R. Sheet time has been extended from to time.
5.In compliance of the order dated 21.09.2017, the learned Additional Advocate General has produced the copy of the mark sheet before this Court after serving the copy of the same to the petitioner, in order to support the contention of the respondent that the marks communicated to the petitioner is the same as indicated in the mark sheet. There is no discrepancy in the marks awarded to the petitioner from what has been communicated to the petitioner
6.In view of the above, Nothing survives for further consideration in the matter. Recording the same this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
